Industry Insight Series
Our new Industry Insight Night Series brings students and families together with universities, professionals, and alumni to explore high-impact career pathways. Each session focuses on a different industry and is designed to provide clear, practical insights into study options, entry pathways, future careers, and real-world experiences.
We’re kicking off the series with one of the most competitive and inspiring fields: MEDICINE

Industry Insight Night

This month’s event offers an introductory, honest, and highly informative look at the pathway into Medicine. Students and parents will hear directly from universities, graduate doctors, and one of our own alumni who has successfully navigated the full selection process.
Our speakers will walk students and families through the realities of the medical journey - from study expectations to interviews, clinical training, and long-term career pathways.

Charlotte McKay – Caringbah High Alumni & Doctor
Senior Resident Medical Officer – Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network
Charlotte completed the entire medical selection process, including the MMI interview, and is now practising medicine within the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network. She will share her journey through medical school, clinical placements, and early career life as a doctor—along with her advice for students considering this pathway.
